RULES AND REGULATIONS
All participants must comply with the event rules and regulations as set out below.
No Helmet, No Ride!
Every rider must complete the race on his / her own.
Only official vehicles will be allowed on the route.
All riders will take part at his / her own risk.
The race will abide by the rules of Cycling South Africa (CSA).
This event will take place over a 24 hour period, the team / solo rider that completes the most laps within this period, will be crowned the victor / victors.
Mechanical problems will be the responsibility of each rider / team, a tech / repair zone will be marked at the start-finish.
No outside assistance will be allowed on the route.
No feeding will be allowed on the route.
Each rider must complete at least 10 laps or more to register on the final results.
Riders that deviate from the marked route will be penalised or disqualified as determined by the race officials.
Riders caught cheating in any way will be penalised as determined by the race officials.
The lap is family friendly, easy to ride by all.
A and B lines will be available to make riding easier.
No, riders can do as many laps as they want in the 24 hour period.
A minimum of 10 laps per rider must be completed to register on the final results.
Yes, coffee will be on sale for the full 24 hour period. Supplements and energy products will available for riders to top-up during the entire event.
Yes, as long as your special race number (board) stays on the bike you are using.
